Uniforms

For daily wear and physical education, all students are required to wear uniforms. The following uniform pieces must be purchased at R.J.McCarthy Ltd. , our official uniform supplier: jumpers, kilts, pants, sweaters, vests and gym t-shirts. The following items may be purchased at R.J.McCarthy Ltd.(view list of stores) or at a store of your choice provided that the colour matches the colour of the uniform pieces from our uniform supplier: burgundy socks, burgundy tights, white turtlenecks, white polo shirts, white blouses, navy shorts and navy gym shorts. A Used Uniform Sale is held twice a year at the school. The uniform policy is as follows:

Girls: Junior Kindergarten - Grade Four (Inclusive)

• Stewart plaid jumper
• White blouse with collar, white turtleneck or a while polo shirt
• Burgundy cardigan or pullover
• Burgundy leotards or burgundy socks

Girls: Grade Five - Grade Eight (Inclusive)

• Steward plaid kilt
• White blouse with collar, white turleneck or a white polo shirt
• Burgundy cardigan
• Burgundy leotards or burgundy socks

Girls Junior Kindergarten - Grade Eight
(December-March Break or as determined by weather)

• Navy pants may be worn in lieu of jumper or kilt
• White blouse with collar, white polo shirt with collar or white turtleneck
• Burgundy cardigan or pullover
• Navy, burgundy, or white socks

Boys Junior Kindergarten - Grade Eight

• Navy pants
• White shirt with collar, white polo shirt with collar, or white turtleneck
• Burgundy cardigan or pullover
• Navy or white socks

Summer Uniform - All Students
(Victoria Day to Thanksgiving Day or as determined by weather)

• Navy shorts may be worn in lieu or the jumper, kilt, or pants (length of shorts should be no shorter than student's fingertips when arm is straight down)
• White blouse with collar or white polo shirt with collar
• Navy blue, white, or burgundy socks

Shoes
Each student is to have two pairs of shoes. One pair of shoes is to be worn for gym use and indoor wear and the other pair is for outdoor wear. This saves wear and tear on floors in the halls, classrooms and in the gymnasium floor. It is important that students have proper running shoes that can be tied (laces/velcro) securely to avoid injury. Shoes that make black marks on the floors should not be worn at school.

Physical Education Class Uniform
Boys and Girls are to wear the following attire when participating in physical education classes and/or any other sport related activity. (Gym uniforms are not required for students in Junior Kindergarten)

• Grey T-shirt (with crest)
• Navy gym shorts
• Navy sweatshirt and sweat pants (optional)
