If you are a parent here at JKCS, you'll want to make sure your police check is on file with the office.
Anyone who might be in the school during the day or have any contact with children (e.g. on a school trip, in-class reading, yard duty, coaching) MUST, ABSOLUTELY have a valid police check on file.
Police checks are good for 3 years and can be obtained depending on your address:
PEEL Residents: Should pop into the office to get a signed and stamped application form to drop off at one of the Mississauga police stations listed on the back of the form.
HALTON Residents: Should drop into the Oakville Police Station (95 Oak Walk Drive, just West of Trafalgar and Dundas) anytime from 8:30am-10:00pm. Bring along $15 (cash or credit card) and 2 pieces of government issued ID.
