Whether you are a new student or a returning one, you are welcome to come and meet your teacher and check out your new classroom! Come anytime between 12:30pm and 3:00pm, bring your parents and any questions you may have about starting school. This is also a great time to see some of the other students in your class and catch up on what's happened over the summer!
Junior Kindergarten and Senior Kindergarten have been mailed a specific timeslot to meet their teachers. If you have not received this information, please contact Mrs. Jarvis (JK) or Mrs. Bosch (SK).
Come on out and join the whole JKCS family at our annual BBQ! Bring your whole family, a lawn chairs, a salad and dessert to the school anytime between 5:30pm and 8:00pm. There will also be an opportunity to see how you can get involved in school life during the BBQ. Look for the volunteer booth. This is a great chance to catch up with old friends and meet some new ones. See you there!
Pack up those school supplies, indoor shoes and gym uniforms and we'll see YOU at school on September 7th. The bell rings at 8:50am but you can arrive anytime after 8:30am when 3 of our staff members will be outside on yard duty. Our first recess is at 10:40am and lunchtime starts at 12:55pm so be sure to pack a snack and a lunch. Our end of the day bell goes at 3:30pm and buses leave at 3:35pm. Parents picking up, pick up right after those buses leave. JK and SK students have a gradual introduction schedule, please see the package that was mailed home for your specific start dates.
Don't miss this night if you are a NEW PARENT! Come on out to learn more about our wonderful school, meet some other new parents and find out how you can get involved. We'll meet from 7:30pm - 8:30pm and will provide yummy snacks to boot!
