The fun, loving, but yappy dog! This kind of puppy will never be without a home. Australian Terriers are hard to get, especially because a lot of people want them. What people like about them is they are small and don’t involve too much work. They’re wrong there!! Like every dog the Australian Terrier needs to be walked at least once a day! They can be good apartment dogs but not always. They are small and don’t need too much space, but they are very noisy!

CARE

Though small the Australian Terrier requires more work then you’d seem. They have sometimes, solid red, or sandy, or silvery blue colours with tan markings on the head and legs. Like any normal dog the Australian Terrier needs to be taken on walks daily. No surprise there!  The Australian Terrier has a rough skin that happens to be waterproof. Their hair should be brushed several times a week like any other dog. The Australian Terrier should also be bathed as needed!

Q:WHATS THE BEST PLACE FOR AN AUSTRALIAN TERRIER TO LIVE?

A: Any where! Country, city, apartment! Anything works! The only thing is if you do live in an apartment, think first! Australian Terrier can be noisy and not all people in apartments want to hear a yappy dog all day and all night!

Q: HOW BIG DO AUSTRALIAN TERRIERS GET?

A: Well, they’re about 12to 18 pounds and stand to about  10 to 11 inches at the height of the shoulder.

Q: ARE AUSTRALIAN TERRIERS GOOD AROUND KIDS?

A: Sometimes. Depends on how the kid acts towards them. If your little kid is bugging your Australian Terrier they should be fine. But, if your kids like to pull and yell then an Australian Terrier is not the best dog for you.

Q: HOW LONG ARE AUSRALIAN TERRIERS SUPPOSED TO OR EXPECTED TO LIVE?

A: 11 to 14 years.
