We have just finished the technology project, TechnoDrama, published by TechnoKids Inc. In this project, students formed video production teams and worked together to create a digital story. The story they told was a re-make of a classic nursery rhyme.

As a group, students determined how to give the poem a “new-spin”. Once the team had a plan, their ideas were organized using a storyboard. After that, actors, marionettes, or puppets were used to create the action sequences.

The events were recorded using video capture devices and the raw footage was edited using the tools in Windows Movie Maker. The goal throughout the activities was to produce a story that children would enjoy today.
