Every heart prepare Him room.

At JKCS, we prepare for the coming of the Messiah by serving others. We do this with a student fundraising campaign to benefit a Christian charity, cause, or organization.

This Christmas season, we are going to raise money for Mully Children’s Family (MCF).

About Mully Children’s Family

MCF CanadaEarlier this year, we were blessed with a visit from Dr. Charles Mully. He spoke about his life, how he came to Christ, and how he and his wife felt God calling them to care for the orphaned children living in the slums of Kenya. Today, more than 10,000 orphaned children have found a home, a future, and hope at Mully Children’s Family.

CLICK HERE to learn more about Dr. Mully, and how MCF is changing the world, one child at a time.

About the Student Fundraising Campaign

Our fundraising goal is to raise money for modern dentist chairs at MCF.

SchoolExterior AERIAL RESIZEDTo ensure the safety of JKCS students and families, we are making a minor change to our end-of-day student departure procedure.

Our goal is to prevent cars from spilling onto Ford Drive.

When needed, Mr. Cruickshank will identify a small number of cars in line in the cul-de-sac to use the Express Lane for loading purposes.

If you are asked to use the Express Lane, please drive through until you reach Mr. Petrusma, who will direct you from there.

Please note: The use of the Express Lane for loading students into vehicles may only be used in this situation. At all other times, please do not stop in the Express Lane.

by Dr. Edith van der Boom, Director of Learning

Next week, students will take home a learning report. The learning report is a wonderful tool that can be used to help you and your child celebrate all of their hard work in learning. It also can be used to start conversations with your child about what their next steps in learning should be. Emphasizing hard work and growth over achievement helps your child develop their growth mindset which, in turn, helps him/her to become an even better learner.
